I'm a free-spirited, kind of hippie, other-culture-loving, Vespa-obsessed mid-twenties girl with a passion for ending global poverty, abolishing sex trafficking, and keeping mamas with their babies. My husband and I strive to advocate for & pursue a slower, more ethical lifestyle, so I created this blog as a place for others who are passionate about world change to connect with Fair Trade artisan women (and men) around the world & help them support their families.

If you're following me, you know that I'm headed to the Dominican Republic to visit our artisan partners and trafficking safe house we support there in just 12 days.

I'm doing a little "drive" , with the goal of selling 6 of these Ocean Agate Bracelets, made by the girls there, before I leave for the trip. These bracelets are made with Larimar Stones, which are unique to the DR. Not only do you get to wear something so beautiful & special, but you'll also know every time you put it on that you're standing with a survivor of child trafficking & abuse. ♥️

An 11-year old girl who was rescued this week that was being used for the most heinous things. I have a niece who is 11. It's just so hard to fathom. 💔 Please join me in praying for her as she embarks on the long road ahead of healing from this horrible past.

Child trafficking makes us angry. But it doesn't have to be this way. We have the power to do something about it through something as simple as shopping. 💪

The poor are the most susceptible. We have solutions to provide Fair wages & safe work environments for people.

My Seraphina necklace is made by women leaving Brothels in Asia, and my Adina Necklace and other accessories are made by women in India leaving slums.

My friend Shelby visited me & let me try on her new Fiesta Earrings before they were released & I thought they were a fun pop of color with this dress. 🥰

I was already wearing the Freshwater Pearl Strand & Charming Necklace with the Framed Lead charm, so I went with it ☺️

As I always do with our big flowy scarves, I've been absolutely LOVING the Elva Scarf that released this month. 😍 The Leaves & Burgundy are helping my Delulu Fall Girl transition as I mix it in with my summer clothes because... Well, it's Florida. 😅

I've been starting to wear Silver more & more because of the stunning Hera Collar Necklace & Silver Petal Earrings. Give me all the chunky necklaces & lightweight statement earrings. 🙌

Well, it was on Friday. :)

As much as I feel like I was JUST HERE, celebrating my birthday, and the year has FLOWN BY, I'm thankful for what year 28 has brought me & taught me. I'm looking forward to year 29 in anticipation, & I'm reminded that I want to soak in every moment & enjoy this last year in my 20s. I'll be honest, the past few years I have been pretty depressed around this time, as I really pondered that I was closer to 30 than to 20. God has continued to remind me that Aging is a Privilege not everyone has. I'm truly so, so blessed & thankful that I still have so many friends & family who continue to love & support me. ️

Just like every year, I spent Friday and the rest of this weekend taking advantage of all the FREEBIES I could!

I hit up @starbucks for my free drink, my favorite little Fair Trade Boutique in downtown Lakeland @take.heart.africa ($5 off for my birthday!), my free bowl from @teriyakimadness, @sprinkles in Disney Springs for my FREE CUPCAKE, some Ramen in Orlando, and even an Acai Bowl at @tealargo before church yesterday morning.

I was also able to take out my new Cobalt Wrap from @tradesofhope, and I styled it as a head wrap!

It was 🔥🔥 H O T so I went for easy, comfy, cute, & colorful. 😘

Thrifted these shorts at @topbuttons 2 weeks ago and I've been loving them! 😍

I got this new Cobalt Wrap from @tradesofhope and it's handmade in Vietnam. I love the color, how light it is, and that I can wear it in the summer! I took it on its first day out as a head scarf, but I would love to try it in different ways! Any ideas for me?

My new Fiesta Earrings went perfectly because, well, my friends and I Fiesta'd for my big day! 🙃🎉

Finished the look off with my new Color Burst Bracelet, Orphan Prevention Necklace, & Noa Necklace, all made in India.
