The Trades of Hope Fall 2022 Collection is available now! It’s that time of year again… when a mini- collection launches & we get to update our Fall wardrobes! Many of the pieces in this collection would work into the winter as well… I love the Cranberry tones!
Introducing our Autumn 2022 Mindful Heirloom Collection
“Heirlooms are defined as valuable objects that belong to a family. Our Artisans are creating much more than mere objects. They are learning powerful skills that support their families and inspire generations to come. Each meticulously crafted design in this collection welcomes the fall season in a nostalgic approach with deep maroons, silver and accents of blue and gold. “

You know I’m always going to grab a pair of statement earrings! These are absolutely gorgeous, and will stand out so well against my dark hair! I’ve also heard from those who own them that they’re very light, so your ears won’t get tired wearing them, which is great for such a big pair of earrings!
These hand-beaded Heritage Earrings are reminiscent of delicate butterfly wings with 14k gold-plated studs, eye-catching black and white oval designs, and cascading fringed ends with maroon and gold-tone accents.
Every purchase of these stunning earrings helps provide these Artisans with safe jobs, fair wages, educational resources, and counseling.

Shirlene’s Story of Hope
I’m an independent single mother of a 7-year-old boy. Because of my work as an Artisan, my life is better. It allows me to meet certain needs. My work has taught me to be a good collaborator, maturity, discipline, and leadership skills.
The atmosphere that reigns at our workshop is not found everywhere. We are relaxed. I spend most of my time in this workshop where we are a family. Some of my favorite memories as an Artisan are our outings together. Another one of my favorite memories as an Artisan is when a design that I had worked on was chosen! I dream of one day having my own business.

Emili’s Story of Hope
I started making jewelry as an Apprentice. I really liked being able to design and have some independence. When I was asked to join this workroom, I said, “Yes!” I knew it was a good opportunity. My goal is to deliver something of the highest quality.
I would like to be able to learn English. When Trades of Hope funded me to go to language school in Antigua for two months, it was a great opportunity. I want the opportunity to study English more, and I would like to take classes to learn to cook well! More orders are so important because we could bring on more Apprentices and help them learn how to become independent women, too. Many thanks to the women of Trades of Hope for buying our products!

Pooja’s Story of Hope
My father passed away quite a while ago. So, it’s my mother, my brother, and me. My work gives us a regular and steady income. It gives us a sense of job security… and that’s what Trades of Hope has provided… a sense of job security. Without worrying, I’m able to support my family and most importantly, pay for my brother’s education.
One of the most important things I’ve learned as a person is to stand for myself and work with dignity. Definitely, getting a good wage is one of the perks of being a part of this Artisan community, but the most important thing is the friendly and clean working environment. All the Artisans are treated equally and with utmost respect. I dream of becoming a master Artisan.
Looks can be deceiving! Based on the photos, I thought this bag was tiny! It turns out that it’s a lot bigger than it appears, and I love that they sewed a waterproof liner into it. I need this bag for travelling!

Pooja’s Story of Hope
During the last wave of COVID in India, I lost my husband. He was the sole earning member of our family. When Rabia and Akash came to know about my state, they called me and gave me this job.
Getting a fixed income and job security has been life changing. My dream is to not be worried about my basic monthly expenses. I want to give my child a secure life and a good education. Now that I’m getting a monthly salary, I don’t have to be worried about our household expenses, my son’s clothes, or house rent. It’s a blessing!
I’ve been loving the delicate flower charms we’ve been getting from Trades of Hope this year! Mustard Yellow is my favorite color, so anything I can get in that shade is always fun!

I’m so happy I joined this Artisan community! Our working environment is very warm and loving. Everyone is so helpful and willing to help you learn and develop new skills. Our boss is very generous, and every manager is kind and willing to help employees. I’ve learned that when we work as a team, we can accomplish anything.
Before I joined this Artisan community, my daily life schedule was not good. I worked late at night. I didn’t eat well or sleep well. After joining this workshop, I have a much healthier schedule and my work isn’t so exhausting. It’s rewarding! My health has improved a lot. I’ve changed my whole person and begun down a path that allows me to have dreams for my future!
